NIGERIA: Thinking Through Complexities

Our level of thinking in Nigeria brought us to where we are today. Our thought provides possibilities and at the same time provides things that limit those possibilities. In Nigeria, we find it difficult to think through the complexities of our country. We have not being able to think through our complexities as a nation, and this has prevented us from coming up with models, ideas, principles, and unique behaviors’ that will move our country and lives forward in the right direction. As the leader of a country thinks, so will the country be. It’s high time we have structures and frameworks in Nigeria that works for the Nigeria people. Enough of “copy and paste” policies and programs. We are different and special, our government and cooperate bodies should sit down and think through our complexities as a nation, come up with what will work for us. Everything falls back on leadership, leadership on its own leads to two paths. There is a path that takes us into the direction of more conflicts, bloodshed, less economic development, continual poverty even as the rest of the world race ahead and there is a path of leadership where there is vision in which people come together for the betterment and development of the country. How do we think and work through our complexities when we have failed to work on our talents and potentials as a nation, we have lost ground on opportunities’, we are moving backward at a rate faster than speed of light. Nigerians, it’s time to sit down and decide the direction our country will go. We have the power in our hands to decide the progress of our country. Nigeria is too important for some few people to play with our destiny and our great potential as a nation.
We are people that have passion, focus, direction, integrity, people who know where they are coming from. Where they are and where they are going. What we need as a nation are people who are prepared, not people who seize opportunities without the relevant preparation. It’s high time we break the caucus of men, who take control of things only for their selfish gain. And still make our complexities to look more complex every day. It is a dawn of a new day, a new beginning. Nigeria is I our hands, the decision baton have being passed to us. Think right and choose right. Decision is power. Your thinking will go a long way to determine how your life will be, and how Nigeria will be.
